Our wooden toys encourage children to independently discover creative ways to play. Embracing the hands-on, multi-sensory activities of the Steiner-Waldorf philosophy is what makes our toys so great for children.
Our Woodland Sprites are mushroom themed mini folk - magical faery spirits of nature.
They come in 2 colourways (mustard or cream). Key features include:
- The cream Sprite has a raspberry mushroom cap, while the mustard Sprite has a teal mushroom cap.
- The Woodland Sprites are made from wood and stand approximately 9cm high & 4cm wide (at base).
- Each of our Sunlit Mini Folk come within a handmade cotton drawstring bag for safe keeping.
Materials used - wood, non-toxic high quality acrylic paints, 100% wool felt, cotton thread, and non-toxic / eco-friendly adhesive & sealer.
Timeframes
This item is currently made to order and will take approximately 2 weeks to create. This turnaround time is our best estimate and does not include shipping timeframes.

Collections and Suitability
Our collections are suitable for ages 3+ ~ although non-toxic, our products are not intended as chew toys. Small parts may be a choking hazard for young children, so please take care around your little ones.
Due to the handcrafted nature of these product, each item is slightly different with its own personality.
We facilitate imaginary and open ended play, sparking your child's creativity. Some suggested uses to help alleviate worry, or ideas for imaginary play can be found in our Folk Story.

Symbology
They are highly connected to nature and take care of the natural world. They especially love the Spring months - helping the nature kingdom wake up from its long winter slumber. They also work throughout the hot Summer to help nature shift into autumn, directing nature through its transition into winter. During the cold winter they bring the snows and watch over the natural world while it sleeps.
These special faeries are in charge of the elemental seasons, helping the world transition from one cycle to the next.
