Black cats are a classic Halloween symbol & have long served as objects of superstition. In Medieval France and Spain, black cats were associated with witchcraft, bringing an element of mystery, magic & protection.
Despite a (very) long history of being known for mischief and mayhem, we’re a fan of the black cat, and Midnight is bound to be one of your fav little creatures.
Product Description
Midnight is wearing an adorable wizard hat and is sitting on top of a stack of magical books. Detailed with a toadstool and wandering vines, this Halloween design is painted on both sides.
Each cat is made from FSC certified Pine and stands approximately 9cm high, 5cm long and 2cm deep. Handcrafted locally by an Australian woodworker, and hand-painted by me. Each cat comes with a handmade cotton drawstring bag for safe keeping.
Materials used - wood, non-toxic high quality acrylic paints, and non-toxic sealer.
Midnight the cat pairs beautifully with many of the items from our Spellbound Collection.
They are a delightful educational tool for young children and are ideal for use in Waldorf and Montessori play settings.
Timeframes
These items will be made to order and will have a turnaround time of approximately 2-3 weeks. This turnaround time is our best estimate and does not include shipping timeframes.
Our shipping is weight & dimension based - starting at $10 for orders under 500 grams in Australia. Please read our Customer Care & Shipping page for more details regarding shipping timeframes, insurance and fees.
If you wanted to place a larger/heavier order, it might be worth combining your order with a friend and sharing the shipping costs.

This collection is suitable for ages 4+ ~ although non-toxic, our products are not intended as chew toys. Small parts may be a choking hazard for young children, so please take care around your little ones.

This type of play encourages negotiation, cooperation, and role playing different situations. Pretend story lines and characters, turn taking, sharing are all great skills to learn. Not only does it help with social skills but it encourages a child to put themselves in someone else’s shoes and be empathetic and considerate of others.
